Coronation Medal Recipient Chelsey Erickson

In a remarkable demonstration of resilience and community spirit, the village of Weldon, Saskatchewan, came together to honor the memory of Wes Peterson, a beloved member tragically lost to violence. Spearheaded by Chelsey Erickson and a dedicated group of residents, this initiative blossomed into the Wes Peterson Memorial Park, a sanctuary for joy and play for the children of Weldon. Chelsey poured her heart and soul into this project, tirelessly organizing fundraisers and engaging the community, embodying the strength and determination that define true leadership.
