Charlene Sproat’s 25-year healthcare career began at Saskatoon City Hospital, where she advanced to team leader and trained staff. After a break, she returned to work at Prince Albert’s Association Medical Clinic and Victoria Hospital’s ICU, retiring in 2017. Her compassion and leadership defined her service. In business, Charlene co-owned Kenosee Gardens and Resort, managed Lakeview Hotel in Waskesiu, and ran Kenosee Inns, PA Kartworld, and a real estate firm. She contributed to the Saskatchewan Education Council, set tourism standards, represented Provincial Resort Accommodations, and helped win the TiSask Hospitality Excellence Award.
Her volunteerism includes supporting STARS Ambulance, Hospital Foundations, MADD, and church groups. She aids cancer patients with meals, cleaning, and transportation, embodying selflessness. Charlene raised two sons, led Saskatchewan fundraisers, and in retirement, travels and enjoys time with grandchildren while continuing to give back. Her lifelong dedication to healthcare, business, community, and family merits the King Charles III Coronation Medal.
